Tommy Kraemer Named Gatorade Ohio Football Player of the Year

Elder senior OL Tommy Kraemer has been named the 2015 Gatorade Ohio Football Player of the Year!

THE WINNER: Tommy Kraemer

THE BASICS

School: Elder (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Grade: Senior
Position: Offensive tackle
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 310 pounds

Athletic achievement: He amassed 156 pancake blocks and anchored a team offense that racked up 5,064 yards of total offense and averaged 390.3 yards per game this past season. The Panthers (9-4) reached the Division I postseason quarterfinals. A First Team All-State selection, Kraemer has been selected to play in the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Academic excellence: Kraemer has maintained an 89.3 average.

Exemplary character: He has volunteered locally as an elementary school guest role-model speaker and as a youth football and basketball coach.
